4th of July...

Every year my neighborhood has its own fireworks display. They close off a couple of side streets and put on a serious show. I figured it would be canceled due to the rain that we had so I put my camera away and figured maybe tomorrow night. Right after I got comfortable on the couch to watch Jaws for the 300th time, I heard POP BAM BOOM in the distance. I grabbed my gear and started running. I didn't get exactly what I was hoping for but here they are none the less. The first few were from my yard just in case it ended quickly. The last picture is of the street, after the show had finished so you can tell that it is no joke. Lots of gunpowder out there....
