This a picture that has been sitting on my computer for a bit now. I was unsure whether I liked this photo or not...but it grew on me. Hopefully, in an effort to learn more and shoot more, I will be trying to post pics daily. If I start slacking, let me know it...

Trespassing: Horse Farm

Yet another gem, slowly deteriorating. Acres of pasture. Two enormous stables with dozens of stalls. A covered riding ring. A silo. A small home. All left behind for the scrappers and the squatters to enjoy. I can only assume this is yet another victim of the economic decline. I always wonder, where have they gone? Where did they move on to? And now I must also wonder, where have all the animals gone? Their stalls still filled with shavings, and the remnants of blue ribbon prizes. The only trace of them is etched in chalk, on a blackboard.

Cole's First Fourth...

Well, as you might expect, he was a tough little guy at the fireworks show.
I never had a doubt.....
He was mesmerized by the sights and sounds of our neighborhood's display (which is no joke as you can see). He was also very patient as I fumbled around trying to get a shot of him looking at the sparkler. For all you worry warts, he was at a very safe distance during that shot.
